22/4/1985 Nothin’

While I realise the big story in Brisbane this week was the world premiere of Flying Doctors, Monday 22 April 1985 was merely another work day pour moi. Dearest diary says, “write script for spot” and reminds me to watch The Blues Brothers on Channel 7 – sounds like a big action day!

I fail to see the benfit in dissecting this day much more than to point out that I had a beer with Anne Jones; watched TV; had a guest arrive from Sydney (named Anni – who I recall was Aboriginal, but not why she was visiting?); then stayed up and drank tea, chatted and ate chocolate into the wee small hours.

A picture of homey bliss.
