More work-a-day drollness. April 23 1985 brought me lunch with Pip in the City; Spot making at Triple Z studios and then to La Boite for a spot of rostra repair and painiting. It took 4 hours to paint the front half of the stage and three removable rostra; mop the floor and be home by 11:30pm.
Our house guest, Anni and a friend of her’s named Lillian, who I noted I had seen in a Toe Truck Production in Sydney were up and chatting. Quite a short entry for what I imagine was a large amount of work.
Here’s the United Service Club, where I toiled away the days, before transforming, Tony Manero-style, into indie theatre and radio man!
